H2O-Oasis is a multi-registered international non-profit and non-governmental organization, NGO, with its base in Germantown, Maryland, USA. Its passionate, devoted and highly-dedicated international team, Comprised of committed multi-disciplinary and multi-technical background members, commenced their development journey in 2011. Founded by Raphael Yaw Gyane. A mechanical engineer by training, the team’s passion towards addressing the vital basics and the essential needs of the deprived and the unfortunate international communities, was translated into actions towards reaching the unreachable stems during their childhood. Losing his father at an early age in Ghana, Raphael had to struggle through his childhood walking miles to fetch fresh drinking water in Kumasi. Similarly, watching how people suffered and struggled hard in a desperate and an endless quest for safe water in their communities, the goal and the mission of the rest of the H2O-Oasis family members became to contribute potentially and at full capacity to the relief of every community worldwide struggling to secure access to safe water.
Unlike in more developed countries, where water among other basics are secured, access to water in other parts of the world, specially the underdeveloped, can merely be considered a fortune. Can you imagine life without it? We drink the water cold to quench our thirst. Can you imagine having to walk for miles to find water each day?. And then when you find it is not only dirty but hot and contaminated. You bring it home, make a fire to boil it, and then pray it will not affect you or your family. Accordingly, Here at H2O-Oasis, we all believe that access to safe water should be a basic human right. Therefore, We are highly committed to contributing into the provision of free access to safe water, with other development partners, all over the world.
