Our Background

In July of 2012, members of H2O Oasis traveled to Ghana and Togo to see firsthand how bad the lack purified water was and what could be done to help individuals who were ill due to the water bacteria. The team was able to speak with people from several surrounding villages about their lives, and was able to catch a glimpse of the sufferings of the people. A mother of several children said, “Life is very difficult, because I am unable to go and find clean water. Just to walk to the stream and back takes me several hours. I feel terrible giving my children this water to drink, but it is all we have. I pray that they do not get sick from it, and hope that our community will have a water pump soon.”

Since 2012, H2O-Oasis team has been customizing designs and installing several pumps across the West African region countries of Ghana, Togo and Burkina Faso, to start with. Partially, the H2O-Oasis team has been reconstructing the existing worn out shallow pump systems. The source of financing has been funds raised locally by few volunteers from the H2O-Oasis team and affiliates over the past couple of years. Additionally, the team has been introducing its Solar Powered Pressurized Water Well System as the alternative cost-effective, sustainable, reliable, environment-friendly, technology-driven and highly-recommended replacement. Accordingly, the H2O-Oasis senior management expanded the fund raising program and further sought the assistance and partnership of the international organizations, NGOs, respective public and private sectors.

H2O Oasis now has a team of five members and desires to drill deeper water wells in order to reach safer water. In 2012, H2O Oasis was only able to clean out and drill shallow wells with the equipment available at that time. We are seeking funds to purchase equipment to drill deeper wells. This will secure the ability to be able to drill deep water wells. The benefits to drilling deeper water wells means larger sources of colder fresher cleaner water that does not get contaminated by the ground surface. Deeper wells will ensure the wells will not run dry. The new equipment will be stored in a secure place in Ghana and within the region.

With its headquarters in German town, Maryland, USA, H2O-Oasis currently operates out of the following offices:

Three offices in the United States of America, one being in German town, Maryland and two other in Talala, Oklahoma and Irvin, Texas. The Oklahoma office has the Solar-Powered Pressurized Water Pumping Well System unit being built on location. This will provide the opportunity for interested people to actually see and experience the unit and functionality on-site while under operation.

Two Offices in Europe, two in Asia and four others in Africa, being in London, Tel-Aviv, Lebanon, Yemen, Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia respectively. Soon offices in Nairobi, Kenya among others in East Africa will be opened and inaugurated.
